How to Play
The dinner party deception game
The Setup
One host creates a room and shares the code. Guests join on their phones before the party starts. When the host taps Start, every phone reveals a secret role at exactly the same moment.
That same night, before anyone gathers at The Council, the Killers choose their first victim. No one else knows it is happening.
The game runs quietly in the background while you eat and socialise. Events fire automatically — a push notification pulls everyone back to the app when something happens.

The Roles
Killers know who each other are — and share a private chat
You know who the other Killers are. You share a private chat. Your goal is to eliminate the Loyal players one by one without being caught.
You have no idea who the Killers are. Your goal is to identify and exile them before they outnumber you.
Number of Killers: 1 for 4–7 players · 2 for 8–11 · 3 for 12–15 · 1 per 5 above that.
The Council
Every hour or so, everyone is called to The Council. There are two phases:
- Discussion — a 5-minute countdown. Talk freely. No votes yet.
- Vote — a 3-minute window. Tap the player you want to exile. Most votes is exiled.
The exiled player's role is revealed to everyone.

Eliminations
From the very first night — and again after each Council — the Killers vote in their private console to eliminate a Loyal player. The server picks a random moment to reveal the result — you could be mid-bite when your phone buzzes.
A 30-second countdown syncs across all phones before the name is shown. No one can spoil it — everyone finds out at the same time.
Eliminated players enter Ghost Mode. They can still watch the game and learn who the Killers are as they are publicly revealed at each exile — but they cannot vote or play minigames.
After each Council, Killers vote a target in secret
The Seduction
Under the right circumstances, a lone Killer may choose a different path — approaching a Loyal player in secret and offering them a place among the Killers.
The targeted player receives a private notification on their phone. They can Accept — and secretly switch sides — or Refuse.
If accepted, no murder happens that night. If refused, there is no escape — the Killer strikes immediately. Either way, the rest of the table has no idea the offer was ever made.

Minigames & The Amulet
Between Councils, a minigame is announced for all alive players. Everyone competes simultaneously on their own phone.
The top scorer wins The Amulet — protection from the next assassination. The Amulet does not protect against a Council exile.
Games include: Reaction Tap · Simon Says · Speed Math · Word Scramble · Pattern Memory — and more.

The Verdict
When the player count drops to a critical threshold, The Verdict is triggered. All alive players vote on one question:
End the Game
Stop now and see who wins.
Exile Again
Run one more exile vote before deciding.
If even one player votes Exile Again, an exile vote runs. This repeats until everyone votes to end the game, or only 2 players remain.

Winning
Killers Win
If any Killers are still alive when the game ends — or if Killers equal or outnumber the Loyal at any point before The Verdict.
Loyal Win
All Killers are exiled or eliminated before the game ends. A clean sweep.
Killers win if any survive when the game ends
Install the App
Final Dinner sends push notifications to pull everyone back at the right moment — a murder reveal, a Council call, a minigame. You need to install the app to receive these. The browser tab alone is not enough.

Tips
- Keep your phone face-down between events so nobody spots your role badge.
- Killers: agree on your story in the private chat before The Council starts.
- Loyal: watch who checks their phone most eagerly after a murder push arrives.
- The Amulet only blocks assassination — you can still be exiled by vote.
- Ghosts learn Killer identities gradually. Pay attention to who gets revealed.
